Terry Hibler , Worldwide Director, Airline Sales FlightSafety International
Terry currently serves as Worldwide Director of Airlines Sales for FlightSafety International.
During his 30 years with FlightSafety Terry has been instrumental in the development and growth of the training programs FlightSafety provides to Regional Airlines at 18 locations around the world using a fleet of 65 full flight simulators.
In addition to being the primary sales representative and team leader, Terry supports the efforts of training operations, resource management, contracts, regulatory affairs, and many other areas throughout FlightSafety that work to ensure airlines receive the highest quality training programs, services and value they deserve and expect from the company.
Terry also leads FlightSafety’s participation in airline industry trade shows, seminars and special events, and serves as the company’s representative with a variety of airline trade organizations. He is Chairman of the Regional Air Cargo Carrier Association Associate Member Council and is a member of the Regional Airline Association Associate Member Council in the area of Training. Terry actively participates in the European Regional Airline Association and the Operator Conferences held by the companies that manufacture regional aircraft.
He has held a number of other positions of increasing responsibility at FlightSafety. They include Program Manager for the Diamond Jet training program at the Houston, Learning Center, Director of Standards, Check Airman and then Manager of the LaGuardia Learning Center.
Prior to joining FlightSafety Terry served in he United States Air Force and in the Texas Air National Guard. He then worked for a number of commercial aircraft operators and airlines as Director of Training, Captain, Director of Operations, Training Captain and Chief Pilot.
Terry studied Business Administration at the University of Texas and has held Airline Transport Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor certificates . He is type rated in a variety of Beechcraft, Cessna, Dassault Falcon, Gulfstream, Hawker, Mitsubishi and Shorts aircraft, and has flown over 16,000 hours.
